I met Wendy Kaye when I visited the art department of the University of Maryland. Of the few students whose work I had a chance to see her work impressed me the most. She has since kept in touch with me, sending me slides of her work and extremely interesting letters concerning her thinking and feeling about art. All this has impressed me deeply and I see her as a person passionately devoted to painting and what is equally important devoted to discovering her original path through her own feelings. Both her paintings and her articulate expression about art convince me that she would make an excellent teacher.
